The Shreveport-Bossier City Convention and Tourist Bureau’s number one goal is to positively impact the economy of Shreveport-Bossier City and northwest Louisiana through the promotion of this region as a tourist and convention destination. That is why it is so important that the bureau and hospitality industry partners work cooperatively to accomplish this mission.

The bureau’s incentive program outlines a partnership between the bureau and area hotels, attractions, restaurants and other hospitality related businesses. The cooperation allows for everyone to maximize exposure to the customer.

To ensure the continued growth of tourism in the area, the bureau offers the following opportunities to bring more people to the area and generate more exposure for Shreveport- Bossier City and Caddo and Bossier Parishes.

Cooperative advertising

The bureau offers cooperative advertising at a reduced rate to tourism-related entities.

Promotional opportunities

Our partners can participate in familiarization tours, site inspections, trade shows, web listings, visitor guides, brochure distribution and more.

Sponsorship opportunities

The bureau coordinates a number of events throughout the year that provide our partners with an opportunity to showcase their products, services or facilities through sponsorship.

Industry support

The bureau encourages referrals between our partner businesses and sponsors several networking events to help accomplish this purpose.
